Fish 4 News aims to publish accurate information. When we make a material factual error, we want to correct it clearly and promptly.
Requesting a correction
Send correction requests to editor@fish4news.co.uk and include:
- the headline or URL of the article
- the statement you believe is inaccurate
- the correction you believe should be made
- supporting evidence or a source, where available
What happens next
We will review the published material and the information supplied. If a material factual error is confirmed, the article will be corrected. Where the change is significant, an update or correction note may be added so readers can understand what changed.
Minor spelling, grammar or formatting changes may be corrected without a separate correction note where they do not alter the meaning of the article.
A disagreement with an opinion, interpretation or conclusion is not automatically a factual correction. However, factual errors within opinion pieces are still subject to correction.
