Six jailed over Atlanta robberies that killed three men

Six people were jailed over a Metro Atlanta robbery spree that killed three men. Three received life sentences plus five years.

Six people have been sentenced to prison for their involvement in a series of robberies linked to the shooting deaths of three men in the Atlanta area of Georgia. Three received life sentences plus five years after guilty pleas in the case.

The sentences were imposed in Fulton County on Friday, 30 October 2026, before Judge Scott McAfee. Prosecutors described separate attacks involving victims being approached through apparent food deliveries or requests for food, according to courtroom reporting by WSB-TV.

What we know about the sentences

The six defendants are Javion Clemmons, Tyla Sprattling, Willie Beasley, Lakavin Foster, Montravis Luke and Cameron Ross. WSB-TV reported that Clemmons, Sprattling and Beasley each received a life sentence plus five years. The other three were given prison terms ranging from 15 to 25 years, although the available reporting does not reliably match each of those terms to an individual defendant.

The defendants pleaded guilty to offences arising from the robbery and killing of 18-year-old Martino Allen Jr. WSB-TV also reported that Clemmons and Sprattling pleaded guilty in connection with the killing of Christopher Holt. The public reporting examined by Fish 4 News does not provide a complete charge-by-charge breakdown for all six.

Martino Allen Jr: killed a week before graduation

Allen was shot at the Legacy Ridge Apartments in Union City on 12 May 2025, just days before he was due to graduate from McNair High School. His family said masked attackers approached the apartment and claimed to be making an Uber Eats delivery before opening fire when he answered the door.

His mother, Tiffany Fuller, told reporters at the time that her son had recently attended his school prom. A separate May 2025 report by FOX 5 Atlanta identified the victim as Martino Allen Jr. and described his family’s account of the shooting. The Uber Eats disguise was a claim about the attackers, not an allegation that an actual delivery worker or the company was involved.

Christopher Holt: a request for food used as a trap

Prosecutors said Sprattling asked Christopher Holt to bring her food while she recovered from surgery. According to the account presented in court, the request was a pretext for a robbery, and Holt was killed after arriving.

Holt’s children spoke at the sentencing hearing. His eight-year-old son described how he imagines his father looking down on him when sunlight falls across the baseball field. His daughter Skylar played a recording of her father’s voice stored in a teddy bear. Their testimony brought a personal dimension to a hearing otherwise dominated by the defendants’ sentences.

Third victim and the court’s decision

The courtroom account also linked Clemmons to the robbery and killing of a third man identified in the reporting by the surname Cody. His sister, Breonna Cody, addressed the judge. Fish 4 News has not independently established the man’s full name and is not publishing a speculative identification.

Sprattling apologised to the families and said she had been manipulated into believing her actions were acceptable. This was her explanation to the court, not an independently verified account of how the crimes came about.

Several defendants attempted to withdraw their guilty pleas, WSB-TV reported. Judge McAfee declined those requests. The report said they could pursue further legal remedies, but an appeal or its outcome has not been independently confirmed.

What remains unconfirmed

Fish 4 News has not obtained the signed sentencing orders or a full court record of the offences attached to each defendant. The precise individual prison terms for Foster, Luke and Ross, and the full name of the third victim, therefore remain unconfirmed in this report.

That distinction matters: all six were sentenced over their roles in the linked crimes, but it would be misleading to suggest that every defendant was convicted of personally shooting all three victims.
