PepsiCo has recalled Walkers Variety Snacks Sharing Boxes sold at Iceland because a packet inside contains wheat (gluten) that is not declared on the outer box.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has expanded the recall to include an additional best-before date of 16 January 2027. The original affected date, 21 November 2026, remains covered.

Which Walkers snack boxes are affected?

  • Product: Walkers Variety Snacks Sharing Box
  • Pack size: 655g box containing six snack packs
  • Code: 107543 (listed as the batch code by the FSA and as the PLU code on the customer notice)
  • Barcode (EAN): 5060430219378
  • Best-before dates: 21 November 2026 and 16 January 2027
  • Retailer: Iceland stores only

The alert applies to England, Scotland and Wales. The extra January date was added in an update to the recall notice, last modified by the FSA on 1 November 2026.

Why have the boxes been recalled?

Each sharing box includes an 85g bag of Monster Munch Giants Roast Beef. That bag contains wheat (gluten), but the allergen is missing from the ingredients or allergy information on the outer box.

The individual snack bags inside are correctly labelled. Allergy UK incorporating Anaphylaxis UK says no other Walkers or PepsiCo products are affected, including the same individual bags sold separately.

What should customers do?

People with an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten, or with coeliac disease, should not eat the affected product. The undeclared ingredient could cause a reaction in people who need to avoid it.

PepsiCo says customers with affected boxes can request a full refund by calling its consumer care line on 0800 274 777 or visiting contact.pepsico.com/walkers. The company has issued notices for display where the product was sold.

Shoppers can compare their box with the photograph in PepsiCo’s official customer recall notice (PDF).
